Hi Miguel,

Yes, although the documentation is a bit thin on this subject...

.tracktemplate      *.tracktemplate        Template to create shipping tracking code links. e.g. "ups.tracktemplate"

Basically you  need to create a tracking template, the example in NB_Store is "ups.template"...

<a href="[TAG:TRACKINGCODE]&track.x=0&track.y=0" target="_blank" >Tracking Code</a>

As you can see it's a basic link to the postal provider tracking system with the token [TAG:TRACKINGCODE], once you've done this you then need to attach it to the shipping method in the BackOffice>Shipping>Method tab.

The tracking code can be entered by editing the order and sending the shipping notification, the client should then get an email with the tracking code on.

the email does send all the information but it does not give the tracking number or tracking link

Have you put the [Order:TrackingLink] in the email template?

Here's an extract from the documentation.html, that's included in the install package..

Using Shipping Tracking Code Tokens

Tracking codes for shipping can be used to create a link to the postal service website.
1. Create a template called "*.tracktemplate" e.g. ups.template

<a href="[TAG:TRACKINGCODE]&track.x=0&track.y=0" target="_blank" >Tracking Code</a>

2. Link the tracking template to the shipping method. Shipping>Methods menu
3. Use the [Order:TrackingLink] token in the "order.text.template" or "" to display the link created.
4. Enter the tracking code into the order by editing the order from the Orders menu.

Use [Order:ShippingMethod] token to display the shipping method selected.
