Product Options Dropdown List

OK... Is there quick code for creating drop-down boxes for basic stuff such as S, M, L XL etc

tried adding productxmldata.template...but getting lost somehere...

a nice example would help

It should be doing dropdowns by default, but I'll give you some more detail here.

First you need to decide whether the options require stock control or not. in NB Store, Models are stock controlled, whilst Options are not.

So let's say you're going to use options. Pick a product, edit it, go to the bottom of the page and add an option such as "Size" and give it some values "Small, Medium, Large" etc.

I always create new product list and details templates for a site, just to keep them safe in case something goes wrong during an upgrade. So do that as well and apply them in the product list module settings.

Then, add as many option name [TAG:OPTIONNAME1] and option value [TAG:OPTION1] tags as you think you might need. They default to dropdown lists, so you probably won't need to create any properties. Check the documentation.html for advanced properites.

[TAG:OPTIONNAME1]:[TAG:OPTION1]

[TAG:OPTIONNAME2]:[TAG:OPTION2]

etc.
