hi rob,
We have enquired about the duplicate content we have on one of our sites many times but we still do not know what and why this problem is occurring.
This was the URL of the about us page before we rewrite it - AboutUs/tabid/64/CatID/4/BESPOKE_PET_BEDS.aspx
This is the about us page, not a page within the store but it was creating a store URL.
It is also creating pages like this under more categories of the website e.g.
This is a page URL under the Dog
Mats | Dog Mat | Dog Throws category,
AboutUs/tabid/64/CatID/2/DogMatsandDogThrows.aspx
It shouldn't be generating an about us page under each cateogry.
We would appreciate your input as to why this problem is occurring and how we can stop this happening, we can provide log in details if you would like to check the back office, or module settings.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

hi Dan,
I'm not fully sure what the problem is with Nb_Store here?
If I've got you right, google is saying there is duplicate content on your "About Us" page. From what I understand your saying you renamed it from a url that was created by NB_Store..(i.e. had the catid included in it)...is this right?
If so then I think your issue is that DNN does keep a track of old url's when a page is renamed. Although I don;t know the full details about how it does this!!, the idea is so old links to your site still work, I would suggest
checking your sitemap.aspx and make sure this is coorrect...if so I think google will put itself back into line when you site is crawled...it might take a couple of weeks.
Regards,
Dave.

Hi Dan,
I've had a look at the site, but I'm afraid I don't even understand what the problem is.
I have no idea why your About Us page would have a store URL in the first place is it isn't being generated by the store.
Sorry, but none of this makes a lot of sense to me.
Does it work how you expect it to work when URL rewriting is disabled?
Regards
Rob
