Template -- physical html template file

Are current templates like productlist.template and productlist2.template saved in a physical html file? I really like it that way, because I can edit them using visual studio and dreamweaver etc. Is there a way that I can create and edit template like that?

All the templates are available in the Back Office Administration modules.

Select the utilities tab

Select templates and you'll see a list of all the templates

Select the email or html text template you're interested in modifying and press the source button - then cut and paste into any html editor

You can also use the "Use Textbox" checkbox, and then copy and pasting becomes a bit easier. (No Problem with the editor putting things in <p> or trying to re-format your html)

Cool, Thanks guys. I just thought may be some day we could have the option to use something like productlist.template.html and save them to a template folder? physically.

Really cool module, Well done and Cheers very much!
