Shipping Issue

Hi there

Firstly - recently downloaded this module and I am really impressed with it. Really like the mass of configuration and use of templates etc. Makes the whole thing really flexiable.

Ok, we have setup our store and have just about finished but have an issue with shipping. We have setup 2 shipping methods both based on weight. One is for postage (with a charge) and the other is for free delivery/local pickup and has no charge.

Problem is when we set the 2nd option to '0' it does not appear as an option on the checkout. If we set the option '0.01' then it works as expected.

Is there a way round this as it doesn't look great charging customers 1p :)

Hi, thanks for the feedback The flexibilty provided by the templates is definitely one of NB Store's strong points for experienced users.

The Free Shipping option is strictly for providing a cost point within a given shipping method, above which shipping will not be charged. It has either, a value of 0, which turns it off, or any value between 0.00 and x.xx, over which there will be no fee. If it is set to 0.00, it makes that entire shipping method free.

To provide a selectable zero-cost pick-up shipping option, add a new shipping method, call it "Store Pickup" or similar, and then give that a 0.00 free limit. This will display an extra radio button during checkout, allowing the buyer to select it.

 Again, congratulations on such a great product. Its so nice to have the level of configuration you guys provide.
